ZENITH+
Single & Multi-Shutter · Custom Size Series
ZENITH+ is SKYHATCH’s flagship large-format modular ceiling access system engineered for projects where standard trap doors are simply not enough.
Designed for the reality of modern commercial and high-end residential interiors where HVAC plant rooms, large MEP zones, and extensive service areas require unobstructed, professionally engineered ceiling access of sizes that were previously impossible.
The largest Zenith+ installation to date: 18 feet × 8 feet (5500 × 2400mm) — delivered for a Noida project. Architects and fit-out contractors can now specify ceiling access for situations they previously had no solution for.

- Multi-shutter system — 2, 3, 4+ panels slide independently for 100% open access
- Steel wire retention each shutter is retained; Allen key unlock required for security
- MS threaded rod support — for installations above 1200mm, direct slab connection ensures structural integrity
- Retrofit-ready — can replace existing wooden trap doors in-situ without full ceiling demolition
Ordering Guide
01
Specify your A-size — the visible opening dimension in the ceiling, edge-to-edge. Any custom size accepted.
02
Frame B-size = A-size + 26.8mm on all four sides. Outer flange overlaps and hides the ceiling board edge.
03
For sizes above 1200mm, include MS threaded rod / butterfly hanger attachment points from building slab in your drawings.
04
Choose number of shutters (2, 3, 4+) based on required opening width and access frequency.
05
On-site fabrication available — unique Skyhatch capability for precise bespoke sizing after delivery.

Installation Guide
Designed for straight forward installation.
Determine opening size (A-size)
Measure the required opening in the false ceiling. This is your A-size — the dimension to order. Add 26.8mm on all four sides for the framing cutout.
Fix to ceiling subframe
The outer frame is fixed to the main ceiling support from 2+ main sections. For Zenith+ above 1200mm, MS threaded rods or flat butterfly hangers from slab provide additional support.
Board the ceiling (preferred method)
Ideally, fix the Skyhatch frame before the final gypsum board layer. The outer flange overlaps and conceals the gypsum board edge with a clean 2–2.5mm groove.
Apply ceiling finish to shutter
Cut your ceiling finish material (gypsum, ACP, laminate, etc.) to fit inside the shutter frame. Paste or fix to base board. The shutter matches the ceiling exactly.
Fit shutter and test operation
Slide the shutter into the frame. Push-lock (Planea) or Allen key lock (Zenith+). Test opening and closing. The proprietary hinge mechanism holds the shutter firmly — it cannot come loose.
